Olivia Rose James is an internationally recognized fine artist who works exclusively in black and white, creating paintings and art for the lovers of books and fantasy.

Being an avid reader and daydreamer, Liv has married her two passions in her art, and has developed a painting style unseen elsewhere in the fan-art world.

When not traveling herself Olivia embarks in novels and books that speak to adventure, romance and worlds beyond our own. She paints to bridge the gap between us, the scenes/characters we love, and realizes this in paint.

Its not all black and white…
 

 

Olivia exclusively uses black and white paint in her work as it envokes the same feelings and emotions as looking at black words on white pages. The effect becomes greyscale, much like the morally grey characters she relates to.
