Like many works, this piece was crafted off the inspiration of a novel. In this novel the prince of the fae is able to shapeshift into a raven. In this piece I wanted the focus of detail to fall between the elaborate feathers and the depth of the crown. A piece meant to sit within a vintage gold frame as a moody finishing touch to a living space or maybe a study/library tower in the woods.
